June Card Workshop

Another monthly workshop and three cards made.

A sympathy card - using the beautiful Love & Sympathy stamp set (122795) and Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze cardstock.  Some retired PP using the Scallop Trim Boarder Punch and Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon. and a few pearls to finish it off!

A Birthday card using the new Twitterpated papers (125406) and I have made a rosette using my new SU Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334) - it is fantastic!  I have used Pear Pizzazz cardstock and ink and the background flower is from Vintage Vogue stamp set (117690) and sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370).

No workshop would be complete without a Christmas card - I have used the stamp set French Foliage (120845) - with some Versamark ink and Dazzling Diamonds.  I have used Night of Navy cardstock and my new Lace Ribbon Boarder punch, finished off with some jewels and ribbon.

Wedding Guest Book

In January I made some wedding invitations for my friend Lindsay - take a look here at the invites. Lindsay has asked me to make a few more extras for the big day and one of them was do decorate a wedding guest book to match the invites.

 I even managed to find one little yellow lace bow and button to finish off the book,

 the flowers match the wedding invites too.

May Card Club Workshop

Hello everyone - here are this months workshop cards.

The first one is using cardstock colours Rose Red and Regal Rose, and co-ordinating inks, stamps sets Circle Circus and Tiny Tags.  I have used the new Blossom Punch (125603) which can be found in the new Summer mini catalogue, finished off with Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon.

 A Christmas card using stamp set Winter Post (one of my favourite Christmas sets).  I have used Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip cardstock, and co-ordinating ink.  The card has been finished off with some jewelled bling and Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon.

 A birthday card using a new stamp set from the Summer Mini - Up Up & Away.  I have use Whisper White, Baja Breeze and Blushing Bride cardstock.  I have used Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint for the background balloons - the main balloon is stamped in Blushing Bride and the basket/birds/sentiment are stamped in Early Expresso.  The card has been finished off with new Pleated Satin Ribbon also from the new Summer Mini Catalogue.

Charity Cake Sale (Cont))

Here was my table at the Charity Cake Sale - I sold over 70 cupcakes!  The feedback was so good - everyone loved my cakes and display - I also sold the cakes in a dozens, half dozen and boxes of four!

 The Rocky Road were a huge favourite and the Blueberry Burst sold out too.....not many Lemon left either!

 I had some left over and I boxed up a dozen for a Charity Ball raffle in aid of SCBU at St Richards hospital, held last night at Fishbourne.

Cupcakes are made to order and I can sell them in dozens, half dozens and boxes of four.

Charity cake sale

My first cake sale! Raising money for The Dystonia society I made five varieties of cupcakes.

 Rocky Road - Chocolate cupcake - topped with chocolate frosting, with tiny fudges pieces, mini marshmallows, white chocolate chips and drizzled with chocolate sauce!

 This is my first attempt at making Rocky Road cupcakes.

 My hubby's favourite - Lemon!!!

 with lemon frosting and topped with little Daisies!

 Another new one from me - Blueberry Burst!

 A light vanilla sponge with a blueberry jam filling, topped with cream cheese frosting, blueberries and icing sugar.

 Red Velvet!

 Vanilla with vanilla frosting and butterflies!

 Vanilla with flowers!

Baby Shower Cupcakes

Vanilla cupcakes with Vanilla frosting - a combination of blue and pink frosting.

 Complete with blue and pink feet and blue and pink sugar sprinkles!

 Two dozen cupcakes were demolished in less than half an hour!!!

Special Birthday cupcakes for a first birthday - these are specially ordered with lots of notice as I do not make the toppers and order them and they take time to make and dry!
