Regional Training

What a wonderful day and a fab haul of swaps!! Some amazing work from some super talented people - and as for some of the training we received yesterday at Fareham and the up and coming products they shared - I just can't wait to share it with you!!
My card below was made using the Cottage garden set - I have used Bashful blue and Marina Mist ink and cardstock - and of course I have added a little bit of bling! I think this is probably one of the most overlooked sets in the catalogue - it is lovely.
and a little sneak peek........I was one of the lucky four out of 74 - to have my number called to win some new mini catalogue product - I can't share it with you yet as the new, improved and fantastic mini catalogue isn't launched until April 1st - but you will love it!!!
Thanks for stopping at my blog and come back very soon!!

Distressed Pirate Card

My favourite stamps for boy cards!! Beware Pirates! (115187) I have used the SU distressing kit (118762) to ink the edges of the cardstock which is Crumb cake and the images are stamped in Soft Suede. I have used a button from the Neutral buttons and the patterned papers are from the Newsprint (117166) and Love Letter (117162) collections.
I have also used the linen thread to creat a couple of stitches. Arrrrr! is stamped in Early Expresso. I have used Real Red cardstock for the background and I have the Color Spritzing Tool to create a splattered look, and none of my cards would be complete without a bit of bling - even if its is for a boy!!!
Thanks for looking
