Cake International Show Excel

I was amazed at the works of art that were 'just' cake and icing!!! They were amazing and here are a few of the dozens of photos I took!

 Loved the teapot and cup - one of my fav cakes!

 I had to take photos of cupcakes too!

 The detail of this dragon was amazing!

 My little haul of goodies! Cupcake cases, some sprinkles, cutters and paste....can't wait to get playing!

Cake Show!

I made red velvet cupcakes but I iced the frosting in a different way to make it look like a rose - very pretty but I think I need more practice!

They tasted just as good, didn't matter how the rose looked!

Tomorrow I am off to Excel in London to the Cake International show - I can't wait!!

April Workshop

A few cards made at my April workshop - one using double sided patterned paper and the Sizzlit Beautiful wings emboss and cut die.  I have used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Poppy Parade Cardstock.

Another card using the Butterfly sizzix die and the antique brads, along with the Top Note sizzix die and one of Stampin Up's beautiful embossing folder and here I have used Crumb Cake, Regal Rose and Whisper White cardstock.

And as always a Christmas card using Serene Snowflake stamps - with Pacific Point, Bashful Blue and Whisper White cardstock and I have added a glitter brad and some jewels.

Of course my card workshop is not complete without a scrummy cupcake.

Vanilla flavour with a little daisy flower!

Easter Cupcakes

 As if we didn't need any more chocolate!!

 Malteser cupcakes with mini Malteser bunnies,

 and chocolate cupcakes with Mini Eggs!

 and this lot went to work and was demolished fast!

 Yum!
